Ages 10U, 12U and 14U (teams can not have a losing percentage):

• Top Four Seeds = Top four teams in Majors conference based on 10 conference games and best winning percentage at conference level.
• Seeds Five and Six = Top two teams in Minors conference based on 10 conference games and best winning percentage at conference level.
• Seeds Seven and Eight = Top two teams in Rookies conference based on 10 conference games and best winning percentage at conference level.
• Seeds Nine Through Twelve = Top four teams based on Overall division winning percentage with a minimum of 12 games played.

Age 16U

• Open Invitational (12 team maximum).
• Based on winning percentage and a minimum of 10 games played.
• Teams will be seeded based on Overall winning percentage.
• This was necessary because of the number of games played to date for the teams in this division.

Details:

• If we are unable to fill all conference seeds, we will adjust the top eight seeds and take additional wild card teams.
• If a team can not fully participate, they should decline an invitation to participate in the playoffs. We will begin to reach out to teams in early July.
• We will play TSE Tournament rules.
• Teams will split umpire fees. ($100 for 13+ two man games; $80 for 11U and 12U, and 8U through 10U semi final and championship games; $50 for one man 8U through 10U one man games). Umpires will be assigned by TSE.
• Baseballs are provided by TSE.
• Teams must have scorebooks with them in case a player's eligibility is questioned.
• Cutoff for games is Sunday July 15th. All scores must be reported by 10:00 pm Sunday night.

Playoffs are single elimination format and there is no re-seeding. Two games will be played Wednesday and Thursday night among seeds five through twelve. Friday is a scheduled off day that will be used as a makeup day in the event we have weather issues the first two nights. Quarterfinals are played on Saturday. Semi finals and the championship game are played on Sunday. We will do our best to schedule those traveling a distance. We can not honor any special requests for the playoffs. We hope to have the schedule in place by July 16th.

Big barrel bats will still not be permitted for age divisions 10U and lower. For ages 11U and above, the barrel will be limited to 2 5/8" (no longer will 2 3/4" be permitted). There will be no drop requirements at 11 and 12U. At 13U the drop will remain at -9 amd at 14U the drop will remain at -5. We will follow BBCOR standards for age divisions 16U and 18U.

We have discussed this issue at our kickoff meeting in addition to soliciting feedback from our coaches leading up to that meeting, as well as reviewed other leagues, organizations and tournaments. We will not adopt any changes for this season and will re-evaluate in the fall for the 2012 season, though we encourage the 16U and older divisions to have bats that meet BBCOR performance standards. We have received many e-mails and phone calls from coaches and parents voicing their displeasure about the moratorium and the timing of it as many have bought and already used their new bats for the upcoming season.

Effective for the 2011 season, the bat requirements are:

• 10U and below: 2 1/4" barrel (no big barrel bats permitted)
• 11U and 12U: 2 3/4" barrel or less
• 13U: 2 5/8" barrel (no more than -9 drop)
• 14U: 2 5/8" barrel (no more than -5 drop)
• 16U and above: 2 5/8" barrel (no more than -3 drop)
